Job Title: Business Development Associate
Location: Hybrid, with expectation for travel and some in-office work. Residency required within commuting distance of the Company’s main office in Carbondale, Illinois.
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with expectations for flexibility due to travel.
Salary Range: $40k – $50k depending on life, work, and educational experience.

Position Overview: The Business Development Associate supports the Vice Presidents, the Director of Client Services, and the Senior Executive Assistant in processes related to sales and marketing. The coordinator facilitates communication and meetings with prospective clients, organizes our booths at conferences, and assists in creating marketing materials and managing our social media presence.

Experience and Skills Needed:
- Excellent written and verbal communication

Conferences and Hospital Association Meetings:
- Point of contact
- Registration and logistics
- Pre-conference sales processes
- Booth management and on-site liaison
- Collecting and entering contact information
- Ability to navigate travel, including airports and managing corporate luggage
Business Development and Client Relations:
- Scheduling meetings and submitting documentation
- Creating materials and research
- Email communication and follow-up
- Sales activity and CRM maintenance
- Coordinating creation of sales data reports
- Maintaining business development files
Marketing:
- Graphic design vendor relationship
- Business card and print marketing management
- Social media account maintenance
- Seeking and coordinating speaking engagements
- Monitoring company website
Executive Assistance:
- Support to Senior Executive Assistant
- Calendar management
- Drafting emails or letters
- Entering CRM notes
- Meeting preparation and coordination
Team Participation:
- Engage in coaching meetings, huddles, and training sessions to foster team collaboration and development.
Other:
